First International Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey of HSE User Conference

Staff members from the Centre for Labour Market Studies, Kseniya Abanokova, Anna Lukiyanova, Anna Sharunina and Anna Zudina presented their reports at the first International Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey of HSE User Conference (RLMS HSE), which took place on May 17 – 18 at the HSE in Moscow.

Staff members from the Centre for Labour Market Studies, Kseniya Abanokova, Anna Lukiyanova, Anna Sharunina and Anna Zudina presented their reports at the first International Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey of HSE User Conference (RLMS HSE), which took place on May 17 – 18 at the HSE in Moscow.

Kseniya Abanokova spoke on ‘The Effect of Macroeconomic Shocks on Changes in Household Structure: the Case of Russia’ and Anna Zudina presented a report entitled ‘Do Informal Workers Make an Underclass? Analysis of the Subjective Social Status’.

Anna Lukiyanova reported on ‘Earnings Inequality and Informal Employment’, and Anna Sharunina presented the results of the research ‘Working in the Public Sector in Modern Russia: Good Luck or Unhappy Fate? Estimating the Public and Private Wage Gap’, a joint project with Vladimir Gimpelson, Director of the Centre. Fabian Slonimczyk presented a report ‘Informality as a Stepping Stone’, another joint research project with Vladimir Gimpelson. Rostislav Kapeliushnikov, Deputy Director of the Centre, chaired the session ‘Education and Human Capital’.
