XX April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development

The CLMS members participated in XX April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development which was held 9-12 April in NRU HSE in Moscow.

Director of CLMS Vladimir Gimpelson presented his paper "Age-wage profiles: are they different in Russia?" at the session P-06. Wages and Their Differentiation. He also was the chairman of the session P-05. Wage Inequality and Unemployment and the co-chairman at the Honorary paper by Thomas Dohmen (University of Bonn, Germany) "Global Evidence on Economic Preferences".

CLMS Deputy Director Rostislav Kapeliushnikov was the chairman of the session P-07. Labour Market Institutions and Their Impact and the participant at the Roundtable B-04. Global vs National Income Inequalities.

CLMS Senior Research Fellow Anna Lukyanova presented her paper "Earnings inequality in Russia: trends and determinants" at the session P-06. Wages and Their Differentiation and was the chairman of the session P-13. Human Capital Issues

CLMS Senior Research Fellow Alexey Oschepkov presented his paper at the session P-05. Wage Inequality and Unemployment. The theme of the presentation "Interregional wage inequality in Russia".

CLMS Research Intern Daria Zinchenko presented her paper "Educational assortative mating and household income inequality in Russia: accounting for spouses’ age" at the session P-13. Human Capital Issues. She was also the co-author of the paper "How do mergers influence university performance?" presented at the session R-05. Models and Strategies of Organizational Management (together with A. Egorov and M. Maximova).
