Olga Lazareva, Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Economics delivered the report ‘CEO Turnover and Firm Performance in Russia: the Effect of Economic Crisis’, co-authored by Sergey Solntsev, Senior Research Fellow at the Laboratory for Labour Market Studies.

On May 26 a joint research seminar of the Laboratory for Labour Market Studies and the Centre for Labour Market Studies was held at HSE. Evgeny Yakovlev, Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Economics delivered the report ‘How Persistent Are Consumption Habits? Micro-Evidence from Russian Men’, co-authored by  Lorenz Kueng (Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and NBER).

On April 8 Vladimir Gimpelson, Director of the Centre for Labour Market Studies presented the report ‘What waists the convergence potential of the Russian economy? Structural change, expanding informal employment and labour productivity growth in Russia’ during the session ‘Dynamics and Drivers of Productivity Development’ at the XVI April International Academic Conference on Social and Economic Development. The report is co-authored by Ilya Voskoboynikov.

On November 11 a joint research seminar of the Laboratory for Labour Market Studies and the Centre for Labour Market Studies was held at HSE. Israel Marques, research fellow at HSE International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development (ICSID) and doctoral candidate at Columbia University delivered a report on ‘Firm Level Preferences for Social Policy in the Post-Communist Bloc: Evidence from Russia’.
